It’s that time of year again in X Factor! The intensity of the six chair challenge has come and gone and now, the remaining hopefuls are jetting off to all parts of the globe to make their final impression on their respective mentors before three from each category make it through to the live shows.
This year Simon, Louis, Nicole and Sharon will judge the contestants in locations ranging from the west coast of America to the south of France.
Find out everything we know so far below.
Nicole Scherzinger - The Boys
Nicole jets her category off to the south of France in Nice. She is joined by Calvin Harris who will help her with her decision making.
Nicole Scherzinger - The Boys
The boys that made it through the peril of the six chair challenge were James, Niall, Matt, Freddy, Nate, Christian and wildcard Ryan Lawrie, who auditioned as a solo artist before being thrown into a makeshift group before boot camp. When he auditioned with his group at the six chair challenge, they were unsuccessful but Lawrie was called back by Simon as his choice for Nicole’s wildcard.
Simon Cowell - The Girls
Simon takes on the girls category this year and has asked his seven remaining hopefuls to join him in Malibu. Assisting him in his decision making are Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel B, the latter of which was a partner on the judging panel earlier in the series.
Simon Cowell - The Girls
Soheila, Kayleigh, Caitlyn, Gifty, Emily and Olivia were the six to make it through last week’s challenge. When the option to pick a wildcard came about, Samantha Lavery was chosen to rejoin the girls, despite picking what Simon called a “horrible song” during the six chair challenge.
Sharon Osbourne - The Overs
Sharon will jet her Overs off to LA where she will make her decision in her mansion. She will be joined by Robbie Williams who launched his new album during an advert break in last week’s show.
Sharon Osbourne - The Overs
Joining Sharon and Robbie in LA will be Samantha, James, Relley, Christopher, Janet and Honey G, who fills in the space left by Ivy Grace after she failed to acquire a visa that would allow her to continue on the show. Saara Alto is the wildcard for Sharon’s group.
Louis Walsh - The Groups
No, it’s not Dublin this year for Louis’ category. Instead, the groups will be jetting off to Ibiza, where they will face Louis as well as Alesha Dixon and former X Factor finalist Fleur East.
Louis Walsh - The Groups
5AM, SKARL3T, Four of Diamonds, The Brooks, Tom & Laura and Ottavio & Bradley were Louis’ choices from the six-chair challenge. His wildcard is five-piece Yes Lad who were chosen for him by Sharon Osbourne.
