Joe Swash, Perri Kiely, and Libby Clegg will all battle to be crowned this year’s Dancing on Ice champion on Sunday. But have you ever wondered what happened to the previous winners of the much-loved programme? Well, ahead of this weekend’s final, we’ve taken a look back at the previous 10 champions and what they are all up to now…

2006 - Gaynor Faye
Actress Gaynor Faye won the first series in 2006 with professional partner Daniel Whiston.

Where is she now?
After becoming the first celebrity to win the show, Gaynor moved up in her acting career. She was part of the stage adaptation of Calendar Girls, played Megan Macey in Emmerdale and is currently touring the UK performing in Kay Mellor’s Band of Gold.

2007 - Kyran Bracken
Former rugby union player Kyran Bracken won the second series with partner Melaine Lambert.

Where is he now?
The World Cup winner moved away from the sporting community after Dancing on Ice. He is now a father to three and is the director of a timber frames specialist company.

2008 - Suzanne Shaw
Hear’Say star Suzanne Shaw entered and won the show with Matt Evers in 2007. She is the only celebrity to do the dreaded ‘headbanger’ from a standing position.

Where is she now?
Shaw went onto being in the cast of Emmerdale playing Eve Jenson after her success in Dancing on Ice. After leaving the soap in 2011, she went on to have children and is now performing in musicals in the West End.

2009 - Ray Quinn
X-Factor finalist Ray Quinn won the 2009 series. In 2014, he stepped back onto the ice to win Dancing on Ice – All-Stars.

Where is he now?
After X-Factor and Dancing on Ice sucess, Quinn’s singing career didn’t really take off. However, he went on to win reality talent show Get Your Act Together in 2015. He then went on to star in the UK tour of The Wedding Singer.

2010 - Hayley Tamaddon
Hayley Tamaddon was the fifth winner with partner Daniel Whiston. Her best performance was in week 10 where she scored 30/30.

Where is she now?
Hayley is best known for roles as Del Dingle in Emmerdale and Calista in Shameless. She also played Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street.

2011 - Sam Attwater
EastEnders actor Sam Attwater came first in 2011 partner Brianne Delcourt.

Where he is now?
As mentioned, he is best known for his role as Leon Small in EastEnders. Since finishing series six he married partner Vicky Odgen. He is now performing as Bronfman in Rags the Musical.

2012 - Matthew Wolfenden
Matthew Wolfenden and his partner Nina Ulanova won the seventh series of Dancing on Ice.

Where is he now?
Gymnast turned actor Wolfenden is best known for his role as David Metcalfe in Emmerdale. Since the show, he has left the soap and is focusing on his mental health. He’s also had children with Charley Webb, who he met during his time at Emmerdale.

2013 - Beth Tweedle
Olympic medalist Beth Tweedle won the eighth series of Dancing on Ice with her partner and three-time winner Daniel Whiston.

Where is she now?
Gymnast Tweedle went on to take part in Channel 4’s The Jump after her time on the show. However, unfortunately, the star suffered a serious back and neck injury and is now running her own gymnastics centre and training camp.

2018 - Jake Quickenden
X-Factor‘s Jake Quickenden was Dancing on Ice’s first winner after the programme returned in 2018. Jake went on to win the show with professional skater Vanessa Bauer.

Where is he now?
Since leaving the show he has been extremely busy. Quickenden has been involved with two tours, released new music and is currently starring in the musical Hair while also earning a role as Woody in Hollyoaks.

2019 - James Jordan
Former professional ballroom dancer James Jordan went on to win the most recent series of Dancing on Ice with professional skating partner Alexandr Schauman.

Where is he now?
James Jordan and his wife Ola have just had their first child. Since participating in the 2019 series, he has also taken part in the fourth series of Celebrity Coach Trip.
